Proper Care And Maintenance For Your NEW NAKED CUTIE

​​The "To Get List" For Your Naked Cutie

1. Litter / Litter Box:

~For litter we love and recommend Dr. Elseys Pine Pellets... but if you live close to a Tractor Supply you can pick up a Large bag of horse and small animal bedding pine pellets for $4.99. It's the same pine pellets and much more affordable :). No Dust and No Litter Mess- It will take a little getting used to but it's sooooooo worth it. 

~Our Babies have experienced many litter box sizes and styles and will be happy with what ever one you choose. If you do choose an inclosed box just start out with the top off and add it once your baby is comfortable. 

2. Cat food:

There are so many great foods out there but this is what we feed our Naked Cuties.

Dry food: ROYAL CANINE KITTEN, with crumbled up Stella & Chewy organic freeze dried raw pieces on top. We FREE FEED, which means that we leave dry food out for our cats to eat whenever they want it.

Wet food: For Kittens: Royal Canine Kitten pate or chunks in gravy. We feed three times a day for growing kittens up to 1 year old and twice a day for Adults. 

3. Toys:

THEY LOVE THEM ALL LOL!!!...the more the better. And, they will turn everything into a toy, LOL! Ours love the fishing rod looking toys with the little colored toy that dangles on the end of it, anything that can hide catnip, anything that sounds like crumpled plastic and especially the lazer pointers. 

4. Treats: 

With high metabolisms these Cuties love to eat. We give our babies Instinct Raw Brand freeze-dried, organic treats and their absolute favorite treat CHURU Squeezable creamy puree.  

5. Bowls for food and water:

These should be easily accessible and cleaned regularly. 

6. Kitty Outfits:

These are not a requirement but are fun and our Cuties love them. We recommend at least 3 or 4 outfits to make sure your baby always has a clean outfit, and plenty of comfortable, cozy blankets. Amazon is a great place to get Sphynx specific Clothes, but there are so many out there now. Have fun Shopping! WARNING! It's Impossible to jus pick a couple, LOL. Our Cuties have better wardrobes than we do.

7. Supplies for Grooming:

~ Johnson & Johnson Baby Shampoo

~ Ear Cleaner: Douxo Micellar Solution (Its Magic!!!)

~ Hypo-allergenic unscented Aloe and Oat wipes (for dry bathing)

~ AtopiCream HC Skin Conditioner- (for scrapes and itchy spots)
~ Q tips and cotton balls for cleaning inside their ears

~ Nail clippers

8. Cat igloo:

Thermo POD (the one that heats up when they go inside of it). Our Naked Cuties LOVE this thing.

9. Scratch pad or post:

There are 100's to choose from and it's important that your baby has a designate area to scratch so that they do not have the urge to scratch up your furniture. We have several around that house that we add catnip to in order to encourage their natural behaviors. 

10. Cat Tower and Climbing Shelves: to give them something fun to climb on and lounge around in.
